Sara,
It sounds like your neighborhood is its own little slice of heaven! How great to be living amidst people you enjoy so much and who do fun things on holidays. Our large neighborhood of East Millcreek has a breakfast, a parade and carnival and we've been going for four years. I love good old-fashioned neighbor civility served with a side of patriotism!

Woods Cross City has a breakfast and 5K on memorial day. It is a lot of fun with pancakes, ham and eggs. It makes you feel like you live in a small little town. I love that.
