My mom qualified for the Boston Marathon yesterday! She ran the Ogden Marathon is 4:13, 2 minutes faster than the 4:15 she needed to qualify. Watching her power through the last 100 yards is always amazing.
Mom, you are an inspiration to me in so many ways. Thank you.
I'm thinking of running the Salt Lake Marathon next spring. Any takers?

I'M IN! A friend and neighbor of mine wants to run it as well; we had big plans this year but she got pregnant. Boo. I am definitely in - let's run that baby!

Your mom is so impressive! I remember seeing her at the finish line at the Salt Lake City marathon in 2006. I could barely walk, having just ran my first marathon. Your mom, on the other hand, was in great shape AND she beat my time by a lot! Can't wait to hear about her adventures in Boston. Good for her.
Uhm, yeah, I am so NOT in for running the SL Marathon. Noble goal though...good luck. I will be too busy eating twizzlers and poptarts to worry about running.
