Little Man on Campus

Charlie told me all morning that he was sick and would not be able to go to school. Then in the next breath, he would say he wanted to be picked up for school just like Elliot. We took a scooter ride around the block to get his wiggles and jitters out. And then he was off to his last, first day of preschool. Charlie is so funny and smart. I'm excited to watch him learn and grow. Hopefully, they can teach him to write his name! He does not want to learn that from me apparently.Lucy has a play date with Aubree while Charlie is gone. And I'm going to wash all the bedding. Doesn't that sound fun!

darn... since Liza really was sick, she'll be joining Charlie on Monday.
And also, you know how i love fresh sheets and a tight newly made bed... so cleaning the bedding does sound kinda fun.

Hey, that's what we do too!

I always dreamed of growing up and spending my days washing sheets for hours...

Best picture of Charlie award...way to distract him away from the grimace.

And Grandma Bench would love this pic too...her great great grandson sitting in her porch chair on his way to preschool.

Charlie at his sweetest and best! What an amazing picture. It really captures the moment- excitement, anticipation, a big step for a little guy. We love you, Charlie. Nana and Grandpa Joe

Yeah Charlie...it's crazy how fast preschool comes and goes.
Funny you mentioned sheets...just today I was thinking about washing mine. Notice I said thinking, it didn't happen seeing as how I seem to spend most of my time in my car lately.
